Auburn Aviation Association

Auburn Aviation Association The 'triple A' was founded by a group of aviation enthusiasts in 1984. We still hold our monthly pot-luck dinner every first Wednesday of the month.

The Auburn Aviation Association is a collection individuals whose only goal is to make the Auburn area community a great place to live, work and play. If you happen to be in Auburn around 6:00p on the first Wednesday of each month, maybe you're driving through or stopping for fuel, come on in and introduce yourself. If you stay for the whole meeting, you might win the 50-50 raffle and/or listen to

a presentation by someone famous. You may even meet WWII triple ace, Bud "Old Crow" Anderson. Auburn is my idea of heaven. It doesn't get any better than this. Also visit the AuCountry Aviation page.

Auburn’s annual Veterans Day parade gave Auburn Aviation Association the opportunity to show off the mini P-51 “Old Crow” and the mini F-86 built by Jerry Severson and “flown” by two members of the Gen. Bud Anderson fan club. Additional drivers were Don Wolfe and Mike Duncan.

TJ Dwelle and David Holloway flew the true-to-size T-6’s in formation overhead.

Are you a student pilot or interested in getting more ratings at Auburn? Flight scholarship season is upon us. Get more info at auburnaviationassociation.org.

Photo credits: Lisa Mara, Chris haven. Not sure who captured the formation!
