Located in Auburn, Alabama," the loveliest village on the plains", the Auburn Civitans are a diverse group of friendly people with different backgrounds, beliefs, and opinions. What we have in common is "civitas", a commitment to our community and a desire to serve it and its people, especially those with developmental disabilities or challenges.

We have partnered with The Exceptional Foundation of East Alabama the last couple of years . Auburn Civitans volunteer to cook the hotdogs and help sponsor O Town Ice Cream for their July 4th bash! It is so rewarding to see their faces and watch them enjoy that hotdog ! They are so appreciative . Great group to spend time with enjoy lunch!

Our club members get out early n the morning holidays like July 4th, Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day , and many others so these beautiful flags are flown in downtown Auburn. The Special Olympics Bowling Tournament is one of our fun fill projects we volunteer to do. We provide all the snacks and drinks for the two day event. The participants are so much fun to watch and we get to help cheer them on ! We also do the same thing for their track and field event .
