✨ A Light to Remember – Important Update ✨

The luminaries will stay lit through tomorrow morning, filling the park with a little extra love for anyone who needs it tonight. If you aren’t able to pick up your ornament during the event, your ornament will be waiting for you on the front porch at 107 Mary St from tomorrow until Christmas Eve. Please feel free to stop by anytime that works for you.

This year, we also ordered a few extra ornaments. In past years we’ve run out, and we wanted to make sure no one was left without an ornament for someone they’re missing. If you’d like to purchase any as a Christmas gift—or for your own home—you can message us here or email [email protected].

A Light to Remember 2025 begins tonight at dusk.

If you’re planning to visit, bundle up — it’s a chilly one. ❄️
The clubhouse will be open with hot chocolate to warm you up, and we’ll keep the doors open until 8pm tonight.

If you would like to purchase a light in memory of someone you’re missing, we have a limited number still available. Each one adds a little glow for a life that’s never forgotten. 💛

The event will feature memorial lights shining around the pond at Hoopes Park in Auburn, NY, providing a beautiful space to remember and honor our loved ones. This cherished tradition offers a way to include those we are missing this holiday season, keeping their memory close. Each luminary is dedicated to someone special and brings a sense of connection and peace. Participants will receive a keepsake ornament, available for pickup throughout the event.

Unfortunately many luminaries and ornaments at A Light to Remember were intentionally smashed sometime last night. We have done our best to fix and replace everything but if you are missing an ornament please let us know and we will replace it. This is the first time in 12 years we have had anything like this happen and we are so upset. Thank you for supporting HUGs from Cara and A Light to Remember 🕯️💙

Join us at Hoopes Park from dusk on Friday, December 8th through daybreak on Sunday, December 10th to see the Memorial Luminaries on display.

Luminaries are $10 each and orders are open through 12/3/23. Each order includes a keepsake ornament, which can be picked up anytime during the event (ornaments not picked up will be available through 12/24/23 at 107 Mary St).
