The Alabama Music Educators Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Gumina as the new Executive Director of AMEA, effective July 1, 2026.

Mr. Gumina brings decades of experience in music education, leadership, administration, and service to music educators across Alabama. His passion for supporting teachers and students, along with his long history of involvement with AMEA, make him an outstanding choice to lead our organization into the future.
