It was a beautiful morning for community service! Warriors participated in the United Way of Bay County Day of Caring.

We had the privilege to help out at Foster Families Navigation & Resource Center. Students had a chance to learn all about the non-profit organization and its purpose. Then we worked together to clean up the landscaping and flower beds, while also organizing and sorting donations. What an amazing resource in our community!!

Finally, after lunch we strolled through Studio 23 to check out the student art show with many pieces created by Western Warriors!

Warrior students spent the morning giving back to the community by participating in the United Way of Bay County Day of Caring. Students painted rooms at Do-All Inc.. They learned about the organization, purpose, services provided, and even met a few artists working on projects.

It was a great day for service learning!! 🤎💛

Definitely one of our favorite events of the whole year!! Bump Set Cure was a success! So much fun to see all these kids come together and have some fun while playing for a great cause!!

It was a fantastic night filled with so much Warrior talent in the gym tonight! Coaches vs Cancer was a success and funds were raised to help us move towards a world without cancer.

Thank you Schlatter Agency-Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan for continuing to sponsor this event every year.

The Warrior Volleyball Program knows how to rock a PINK out and a bake sale!

This event is successful thanks to many important groups.
💖 Volleyball families that donate all of AMAZING baked goods
💖Volleyball coaches that continue to keep this event a priority
💖ATS Printing that donates the pink shirts to the cause every year- simply amazing!
💖Flowers from the Heart for the beautiful flowers
💖The many fans that donate towards the fight against cancer
💖The student volunteers that give their time
💖 The cancer warriors that we remember and honor on this evening

Great job to all of the volunteers and participants. We will continue to fight for a world without cancer!

The Relay for Change group teamed up with the Warrior Swim Team for a pink out event on October 3rd. The swim team held a raffle for two amazing pink gift baskets as well as selling pink bracelets and treats with all proceeds benefiting the cause! The swimmers looked awesome in all of their pink!

We will continue to fight for a world without cancer! 💗🤎💛💗

It was great day to make a positive CHANGE! Members of the Warrior Relay for Change team participated in the United Way of Bay County annual Day of Caring. We joined over 600 volunteers participating at sites all over the county. We even got our principal to join us!

Our team painted the exterior of the The Boys and Girls Club of the Great Lakes Bay Region Pinconning location. The impact was remarkable! Proud of these kids for donating their time learning about the importance of community and volunteerism.

We snuck in a couple quick side trips as well to learn about small business and community offerings. Thank you for the delicious goodies, Little Pastry Shop. We were able to view the amazing student artwork at Studio 23/The Arts Center. Megan even gave our group a tour!

Nicole Luczak and her team know how to organize a large scale community impact event! Way to go!

Whew! Another Bump, Set, Cure in the books! Want to hear a bit of trivia? One of the Relay members that actually helped start this tradition as a student played on the staff team today 🤯…AMAZING!

A special shoutout to the staff team for giving your time and sacrificing your bodies 😬. Thank you to Os Pub & Grill for annually donating gift cards to the winning team. Thank you to Water Street Nutrition for donating your delicious teas again! Thank to the admin team and athletic trainer for hanging out on a week when they usually get a break from sports.

Kudos to all the student volunteers and Relay members that work to make this event happen!

Finally, we hope the students had fun and enjoyed the event. It is sure fun to watch them all in a different element!
