Thank you to everyone who joined us for Fundraising 101 last week!

There’s still one more opportunity to join us! Our final Nonprofit Development Workshop of the year, Traits of a High-Performing Board, will be held November 17. This workshop is designed for nonprofit leaders to attend alongside their board president or another board leader to learn and grow together.

Last week at our Annual Meeting, we were honored to award the 2026 Changemaker Award to Tammy Stafford. Tammy has dedicated her career to improving the health and well-being of others, with a commitment to serving those in need.

As the founding Executive Director of St Martin's Healthcare, she spent almost 20 years helping grow the organization from a small, volunteer-run medical clinic into a vital healthcare resource for DeKalb County and northeast Indiana. Under her leadership, the clinic expanded its services to include dental care, vision, and behavioral health, while also launching a mobile healthcare unit to bring care directly to our communities.
