We currently offer 4 programs within AYSA. These programs offer a place to play for all ages and skill levels, for both boys and girls. The Modified program (Mod) offers a fun, relaxed environment for younger kids to learn and grow their skills. The Mod program is targeted for children ages 4 to 9. The Recreational program (Rec) is targeted for children ages 10 to 18 that want to stay competitive
but in a relaxed environment with minimal commitment. The Academy program is for kids ages 7 to 9 that wants to train with other motivated kids with similar abilities in a positive environment for soccer so that individual and team development can be accelerated. Our Academy players will have an enhanced opportunity to graduate into our older competitive Rainier Valley Slammers teams. The Rainier Valley Slammers (RVS) select/premier program offers children ages 10 to 18 a highly competitive environment. Teams for the Rainier Valley Slammers program are formed through a tryout selection process held February through May, depending on age groups
