Twenty-one years and counting 💙

MA HOBY has volunteered with Special Olympics Massachusetts since 2004, and the athletes look forward to seeing us at Summer Games every single year. On Saturday, August 15, we're heading back — and we need you there.

It is genuinely one of the best days on our calendar.

One thing to know: after you register on our site, you'll be prompted to complete a second Special Olympics volunteer form. Both are required for your spot to count.

We'll be at the Bocce and Cycling tournaments at Fore Kicks in Marlborough, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You'll help run the games and report results to the directors, hand out awards, assist with set-up and clean-up, and cheer on every athlete all day long. No previous experience required. T-shirt, water, and lunch are all provided.

We’re building a stronger, more connected experience for our alumni — and we need your HOBY spirit to make a bigger impact in our communities.

We’re opening applications for THREE new alumni leadership roles:

🔹 Outreach & Growth Lead — reconnect with past ambassadors and find fresh ways to keep everyone linked in.
🔹 Operations & Engagement Lead — manage sign-ups, track our impact, and keep events running smoothly.
🔹 Content & Media Lead — create graphics, capture photo/video, and help run our social media.

No prior experience required — we’re looking for your passion and commitment.

MA HOBY is teaming up with Special Olympics Massachusetts for their bowling tournament — and we need YOU to help make it an unforgettable day for these incredible athletes! 💙

Some moments are just meant to be shared, and this is one of them. As a volunteer, you'll be right in the middle of the action — keeping score, cheering on athletes, and making memories that last. Training provided, friends & family welcome!
