A moment of surrender. ✝️

This moment caught our attention during prayer and worship. No stage. No spotlight. Just a man, his Bible, and a heart seeking the Lord.

At ABSOLUTE Ministries, our goal has always been about more than sobriety. We want to help our members live a NEW LIFE. We exist to help end the cycle of addiction and teach men and women how to live in a new way, with Christ at the center.

Lasting transformation happens when hearts are surrendered, minds are renewed, and people begin learning a completely new way to live.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2

This is what it’s all about. One prayer. One decision. One surrendered life at a time. 💚

THIS is what NEW LIFE looks like!💚

Today we are celebrating Kate and something truly life changing. New hearing aids! 🎉

Our team had the privilege of walking alongside Kate through the process of receiving a $7,500 grant that made her new hearing aids possible. And of course, a moment this special deserved balloons and a celebration! 🎈

At ABSOLUTE Ministries, recovery is about so much more than simply ending addiction. It is helping people learn how to live again. It is walking alongside our members as they rebuild their lives, access resources, overcome barriers, restore relationships, find employment, grow in their faith, and take steps toward a future they may have once thought was impossible.

Sometimes NEW LIFE looks like a job. Sometimes it looks like a driver’s license. Sometimes it looks like restored relationships. And today, it looks like being able to hear the world in a whole new way. 🥹

Kate, we are SO excited for you! Congratulations on this incredible step forward. We are grateful to get a front row seat to all God is doing in your NEW LIFE! 💚🙌

ONE YEAR. A WHOLE NEW LIFE. 🙌💚

One year ago, Victor was living on the streets of Seattle, battling addiction to fentanyl and co***ne and facing one of the darkest and loneliest seasons of his life.

Today, his story looks very different.

By the grace and mercy of God, Victor is celebrating ONE YEAR of NEW LIFE!

In just one year, he has:

🙌 Surrendered his life to Christ
💚 Mended broken relationships with his family
⛪ Become a member of his church and was baptized
🤝 Faithfully served his church through security and landscaping
⚖️ Resolved legal issues
💼 Secured a great full time job with benefits and a 401(k)
💰 Worked toward financial stability
🚗 Earned his Washington driver’s license and purchased a vehicle with the help of his mentor
🏠 Found a safe home, community, accountability, and support through ABSOLUTE Ministries

But Victor will be the first to tell you where the glory belongs:

“God has been so good to me in just one year, and I can’t wait to see what the next year brings.”

This is why we do what we do.

Recovery is so much more than leaving addiction behind. It is learning how to live again. It is restoring relationships, showing up for work, serving your church, building healthy community, taking responsibility, walking through the hard days, and discovering who God created you to be.

Victor, we are incredibly proud of you. Your story is a testimony to what God can do with a surrendered life, and we cannot wait to see what He has in store for you next.

This is what NEW LIFE looks like. 🙌

Recovery was never meant to simply be leaving addiction behind. It is learning how to live in a new way, rooted in Christ, surrounded by healthy community, and planted in a local church family. ❤️

This past weekend we celebrated an incredibly special moment as Hector, Enrico, Collin, Zach, and Elijah were officially welcomed as members of their church.

From isolation to belonging. From an old way of life to NEW LIFE in Christ.

This is church grafting. This is community. This is lasting transformation.

Praise God for what He is doing in the lives of these men! Please join us in celebrating them and praying for their continued walk with Christ. 🙌💚

Learning what it means to live in a NEW way. 🙌

Our men at the Coeur d’Alene Campus spent time this week creating space for honest conversations, biblical truth, accountability, and growth.

At ABSOLUTE Ministries, recovery is about so much more than leaving an old life behind. It is about allowing God to transform our hearts, renew our minds, and teach us how to walk in freedom.

These moments matter. Men learning together. Encouraging one another. Growing in their relationship with Christ. Building the foundation for lasting NEW LIFE.

We are grateful for every opportunity to equip our Members with tools that point them toward freedom, healthy relationships, and the men God has called them to be. 💚

☀️ Making the most of every moment.

Yesterday, the ladies at our Washington Women’s Campus traded four walls for God’s beautiful creation and gathered for chapel by the lake!

Surrounded by His creation, we were reminded of God’s faithfulness, His peace, and the new life He continues to cultivate in each heart.

We are grateful for days like these and for the opportunity to learn, grow, and draw closer to Jesus together. 💙
