This , Alabama is stepping up.
We’re kicking off our annual friendly competition between states to spread friendship and Alabama is ready to lead the way.
From December 2 through December 31, every dollar raised fuels life-changing opportunities in friendship, jobs, leadership, inclusive living, and family support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Here in Alabama, Best Buddies is growing stronger than ever, with 27 active school chapters across 6 counties, more than 250 one-to-one friendship matches, a community of over 2,200 members, and 100 inclusive events hosted just this semester. Your support helps make all of this possible.
Throughout the State Showdown, thanks to our generous friends at Jersey Mike’s, every donation will be double-matched 2:1, up to $1.32M.
