The school year has ended and summer break has begun however the next school year starts before we know it. So far we have collected $80 in donations but I know we can do better than that so children in our community can start out in September with a new backpack and school supplies that they need.

Friends Helping Friends of Cayuga County Inc will be collecting monetary donations through May, June and, July which will then be presented all together to Booker T. Washington Community Center for the 2026 back to school backpack program in August. This will be our 3rd year collaborating with them and we are thankful to be a small part of this awesome program
