Honoring fallen officers is a powerful way to show respect for the sacrifices made by those who serve in law enforcement. It’s a solemn reminder of the risks they face daily and the courage it takes to protect and serve. Gathering together in their memory not only acknowledges the ultimate price paid but also reinforces the professions unity. By participating in such events, we reaffirm our gratitude for their dedication and commitment, highlighting the importance of unity in remembering those who gave their lives in the line of duty and demonstrating our collective respect for law enforcement as a vital pillar of society. Thank you to elected officials and their representatives in attendance: Mayor Dave Clark, Brad McDaniel with Congressman Stutzman, Steve Justus with US Senator Banks, Sheriff Thomas, and Chief Heffelfinger.
