Leadership Auburn At the end of a 10-month long program, there is a project. This is the Class of 2023's! PROJECT GOALS

1.) Bridge the Generational Gap

Leadership Auburn is a program sponsored by the Auburn Chamber of Commerce as a way to learn about our local government and an effort to get more community involved. Contribute to something that will beautify Auburn and make a difference in people's lives.
3.) Provide an opportunity for community members to get involved and feel a part of it.

ngoing participation within. Cain Middle School Project

"Beautify the Campus" with murals and painting the school. We will not be repainting the whole school, but rather painting PickleBall outlines on the blacktop, railings and bathrooms, or murals on walls. This project can be done with the help of local artists from the Placer County Arts Council or the Auburn Arts Council, as well as the EV Cain art Teacher and students. This committee will determine the area, the costs, the resources, and what it'll take to make happen- Decide a reasonable budget and what costs will be (Estimation between $10k- $20K)

"Build a Garden", working with Placer County Master Gardeners, as well as several of the science classes, amongst other community members this group will collaborate to build and create a garden in the garden space provided alongside Palm Ave. There is also the possibility of building Planter boxes alongside '6th-grade village'. There are Native plants growing in areas that need to be cleaned up. As well as outside classroom areas that need some attention and maintenance. Once we start the initial process the Master Gardeners and EV Cain Science classes will upkeep the project. (Estimation between $10k- $20K)

“Update E.V. CAIN Field/Track” Team is going to work on getting three bids for: Updating the grass/sod/turf, fixing broken sprinklers, adding water bottle filling stations, a track around the outside perimeter, new backboards and stands for the baseball and softball fields, painting pickle ball courts inside the existing basketball courts.
