DAV Chapter 4, Worcester MA

DAV Chapter 4, Worcester MA Meetings: Fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm Fulfilling our promises to the men and women who served.

We are dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. We accomplish this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to

civilian life. Providing free, professional assistance to veterans and their families in obtaining benefits and services earned through military service and provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and other agencies of government

Because of the HERO Act, $2,500 checks are on their way to more than 23,000 veterans, Gold Star families, and surviving spouses—the largest year-over-year expansion of this program in its history.

We’re delivering on our commitment to make Massachusetts the best state in the nation for veterans and military families.

Chapter Meeting Postponed – July 28, 2026

Dear Chapter 4 Members,

Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict at the Tuttle Post, we unfortunately must postpone our regularly scheduled Chapter meeting on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

The Post has both a hall rental conflict and its annual car show scheduled that evening, leaving insufficient space to conduct our meeting. While we explored alternative locations within the building, the remaining available space would be too crowded and noisy to effectively conduct Chapter business.

Our next Chapter meeting will now be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at our regular meeting time and location.

We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We look forward to seeing everyone in August.

Please note: Our Chapter Service Officers will still be on-site at the Tuttle Post on July 28 to assist any veterans who arrive seeking service or benefits assistance and may not have received this announcement.

Thank you for your continued support of DAV Chapter 4.

Michael Valila
Commander

Auxiliary Unit 4 Announcement

The DAV Auxiliary Unit 4 has recently regrouped and is excited to continue building a strong organization in support of our veterans, their families, and the mission of DAV.

Due to the same scheduling conflict at the Tuttle Post, the Auxiliary will also be postponing its July meeting. The next Auxiliary meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the Tuttle Post.

Auxiliary Unit 4 Commander Rachelle Gallant and Adjutant Kayla Valila look forward to welcoming all members, as well as the family members and friends who support you and the DAV, to the next meeting.

If you have a family member or friend who is not currently an Auxiliary member but would like to become involved, we encourage you to invite them to attend. Junior members (under 18 years of age) are welcome, too! The Auxiliary offers a variety of activities, volunteer opportunities, and fellowship, making it a fun and rewarding organization for members of all ages.

We hope you'll help us grow the Auxiliary and look forward to seeing everyone on August 25th!
