Fosters are truly the backbone of animal rescue. Without foster homes, many animals would have nowhere safe to go while they wait for their forever families. Fostering provides rescued animals with love, stability, socialization, and a comfortable environment where they can decompress and learn to trust again. Every foster home opens a space for another animal in need, allowing Coal Mountain Animal Rescue to continue saving lives. Whether it’s for a few days, a few weeks, or a few months, fosters make an incredible difference and give these animals a second chance at the life they deserve.

‼️SEEKING A FOSTER BEFORE WE CAN TAKE THE DOG‼️

Fosters are the backbone of every animal rescue. Without foster homes, rescues simply cannot save as many animals in need. Fosters provide a safe, loving environment where animals can decompress, heal, learn basic manners, and receive individualized care while waiting for their forever families. They help us learn each animal’s personality, needs, and preferences, making it easier to find the perfect match for adoption. Every foster home that opens its doors creates space for another animal to be saved from a shelter, neglect, or an uncertain future. Even fostering for a short time can make a life-changing difference and directly impacts how many animals a rescue is able to help.

Milah is an 8 year old Irish Setter/lab mix. She is not utd on shots and is not spayed. (Which she will get once in the rescue)

This is the tiny little nugget that we found screaming earlier today. He was just fed, pottied and now sleeping away.. we can really use formula for him as we have the last can left from the trio that are now 7 weeks old.. we will also need miracle ni***es for him. We tried the bottle ni***es that we have and he seems to take the miracle ni**le best. We only have one currently and could really use a few new ones.. please please we really need help at this point. We will do anything and everything in our power to help him thrive but we are going to need our communities help with this one. We will also post updates on him throughout his journey.. please follow along for this ride...

Just when we think we can finally breathe for a few days before rhe next call for help comes... we heard something crying for some time at first we thought it was a baby raccoon because it sounded just like one.. we followed the noise and right before our eyes and to our surprise there was a fairly newborn kitten. Umbilical cord still long and attached screaming.. we scooped it up and went in search for more babies and possibly mom. We are thinking mom got spooked by something and just took off.. nothing as of yet.. so now we have a newborn baby that we will be feeding round the clock. We are definitely going to be in need of formula. When we get a moment we will post pictures of the little nugget.. if anyone could please help us with formula that is a desperate need right now and some small baby blankets for him... we have bottles and wipes still left over from the trio we have.. we also want to let this to be a reminder to spay and neuter your pets and for the love of god stop dumping your cats you dont want anymore on others property... they are scared and petrified and won't allow anyone close to them and this is the end result.. we promise you we willl be placing cameras and if anyone is caught dumping any animals on the property there will be charges...
We believe the mom to this baby was a very recent dump. She randomly showed up about 3 weeks ago... do better

📢 Venue Needed for a Special Adoption Event! 🐾

Coal Mountain Animal Rescue is looking for a generous business, organization, or property owner willing to donate the use of a space for one day to host a pet adoption and fundraising event!

We are hoping to find a location with enough room for our adoptable animals, volunteers, and community members to come together and help homeless pets find their forever families. Indoor or outdoor spaces will be considered, and we are happy to work with you to ensure everything runs smoothly.

By hosting our event, you’ll be helping us raise awareness, support our rescue efforts, and most importantly, give deserving animals a chance at a better life. ❤️
