With us getting the 4th and final cat from the hoarding case in a home in pottsville we have had to reschedule their appts until Tuesday at 430pm. All 4 will be seen at Ringtown Veterinary . We already have a bill currently there that we are working on paying down but we would be very appreciative if anyone would like to help us with their vet bills. We are not sure what their bills are going to cost as we dont believe they ever seen a vet a day in their lives. 3 of them are severely over weight and obese. We closed to intake and we aren't intaking except for the animals we already have committed to previously. We couldn't say no when we heard how these poor cats were living and when we actually see the conditions for ourselves. We were not prepared to take in 4 cats that are probably going to need vet care from a to z. If anyone would like to donate towards their care please do so by calling Ringtown vet at 570-889-5023. We also have venmo and paypay but would prefer donations to be called into the vet to make things a little easier.

We are happy to announce that the 4th and final cat from the hoarding house has now been trapped and is safe. We will be picking him or her up shortly. We are pretty sure its a female but we will update when we know more. Definitely scared and pertified. The poor thing has been looking for its siblings for days since they have been trapped and we got them. It took days for this one to come out of hiding but was finally caught and will be reunited with the siblings shortly... thanks to Pottsville PA Department of Health and Animals and also Pottsville Code enforcement for being persistent and making sure that this cat was removed for the horrible living conditions it was in. They worked tirelessly even on their days off ensuring that they kept checking the traps and rebaiting them for a better chance to catch this poor soul. They have searched and searched the property under things including piles and piles of trash and everything else within that property to no avail. Yesterday traps were reset and today they were successfully... pray for this poor babies wellbeing. . We will post pics below of this gorgeous little one below...

We are on the last bag of cat food for the cats currently. We are going through a little more then before due to the emergency intake hoarding cats. We desperately need dry and wet cat food. If anyone would like to donate it is on our wishlist. We appreciate everyones support during this time. The cats would be forever grateful for any food at this time. The 3 hoaridng intakes are on a strict feeding schedule at this time as they need to shed a few pounds. But all of the cats are on their last bag of food. We are looking for fosters for puppies. We are looking for foster to adopters so they can go into a home that they will remain in. They are starting their first round of vaccines tomorrow and will have 2 rounds of dhpp and their rabies vaccine along with needing to be spayed or neutered when the vet says they are ready. We will be posting up pics as soon as we get a chance to get a few. If you are interested please send us a message. They are almost 9 weeks old.

Does anyone have a larger cat carrier possibly that we can borrow or that isnt being used? We are looking for 2 larger cat carriers for the 3 cats from the emergency intake. They are way too big to fit in a regular size cat carrier. We couldn't fit them in a regular sized carrier cause of their size. We had to reschedule their appts due to this. If we cant find any we will need to use the dog airline crates for them. We ate trying to not make them uncomfortable. We cant get them through the door which is sad

We are coming to our community for your assistance if possible. Yesterday we took in 3 cats in an emergency situation. There is a 4th one but its hiding so traps are set. The animals were living in unexplainable conditions to the point it is not habitable for humans or animals. The 3 cats we currently have in our custody are severely obese. They struggle to get around and the walk with a limp. Today they go to the vet to be seen to see what options are available to help them lose some of their weight and become more healthy. Right now they are at a very very unhealthy weight. We are closed to intake but when we saw the conditions these poor cats were living in we couldn't say no because everyone else did. These cats would have died if they continued living in them conditions. We are asking our community for help towards their vet bills today. We arent sure what the bill will be at this present time but they needed to be seen immediately due to their health concerns and the severe obesity. If anyone would be kind enough to help us with their vet bills we would be forever grateful and so would these lives that will change for the better once they are on the right track. They are being seen at Ringtown Valley Veterinary Hospital at 5:15pm today. Donations can be called in to the vet directly at 570-889-5023. Please say a prayer that the vet will be able to get them on the right path to losing some weight and becoming healthier and living a healthier life in the future. We are praying hard that the severe obesity has caused any permanent damage to their bodies. We will post pics of the 2 females that are hiding but able to get pictures of the 3rd one is an all black cat that is hiding under things and we dont want to push too hard as they are very scared and dont know what is going on...

Our community has done it again. We called for help for milk bones for our furry friends and everyone has made miracles happen. We asked and everyone delivered and made sure they had their treats. We have recieved quite a few donations today and we cant be more appreciative of the outpouring we recieved. Especially since we have taken in 3 and a 4th cat once caught from a hoarding and unsanitary living situation. We want to thank our our community and everyone who made this possible and has had our back. Thank you isnt enough.. we will post pictures of the donations that came today. Thank you so so much. We at coal mountain cant thank you enough and the animals are beyond happy and thankful for each and everyone...

We are using our last 4 flea and tick meds for the emergency intakes and all of the other cats will be due in Sept for their flea and tick meds. Would anyone be willing to donate for their flea and tick meds. We use advange ll for large cats. We can add it to our wishlist as well.
