🚨 URGENT WINTER SUPPLY OPPORTUNITY: Help Us Raise $450 by This Friday! 🚨

Community, here is the deal currently. We have a massive opportunity this Friday, October 16, to pick up a few more pallets of absolutely critical items for the animals in our care.

However, we have a very tight deadline. We need to raise at least $450 by Friday to obtain these pallets.

These pallets are packed with food and other supplies that we desperately need right now. Securing them wouldn't just hold us over for a little bit—it will officially carry our entire rescue through this upcoming winter for all of our animals.
If anyone can help us cover the cost of these pallets, we will be in a fantastic position to keep everyone warm, full, and cared for during the coldest months of the year. We cannot capitalize on this opportunity without your immediate help!

🐾 HOW TO DONATE:
If you can spare even a few dollars to help us hit our $450 goal by Friday morning, please send your support directly through our official, secure links:

🐾 COURTESY POST: 15-WEEK-OLD WHITE HUSKY NOVA NEEDS AN ACTIVE HOME! 🐾

We are doing a courtesy post to help a local family find a forever home for their gorgeous puppy, Nova. Please note: Nova is NOT in our custody at the rescue. We are completely beyond capacity and have absolutely no physical space, but we promised to help this family screen for the perfect fit!

Nova is a stunning 15-week-old white Husky who is a total bundle of fun, but she needs a specific type of home to thrive.

About Nova:

• Personality: She is incredibly playful, happy, and has that signature high-energy Husky stamina!

• Friends: She is wonderful with other cats, dogs, and kids.

• Home Requirements: Nova absolutely needs a fenced-in yard OR a highly active family who can provide her with more daily exercise than her current family is able to give her. She would do best in a home that already has a four-legged playmate to help her run around and burn off her puppy energy.

• Kids: The family recommends a home with children over 10 years old simply due to her hyperactivity and the potential for her to accidentally knock over smaller toddlers.

• Vetting: Nova is not spayed yet and is not current on her vaccines. However, our rescue is going to work directly with the family to get both of these things done ASAP!

HOW THE ADOPTION PROCESS WORKS:
Because we want to ensure Nova goes to an environment that can handle her high-energy needs, we are helping the family screen applicants.

👉 If you fit Nova's needs and want to make her part of your family, please send us a direct message! Once we chat and can make sure it’s an appropriate match for her, we will immediately put you in touch with her family to finalize the next steps. Please SHARE this post to help this beautiful Husky pup find her running partner! 🐾✨

🐾 SHEPHERD FAMILY UPDATE:
Big Milestones, Houdini Antics, and Fosters Needed for the Pups! 🐾

We have some amazing updates to share on our Shepherd family of four! First things first—they are all doing absolutely great, and their true personalities are really shining through.

We’ve learned that they are an incredibly clever and highly dog-friendly bunch, though they’ve kept us on our toes with some serious escape-artist antics!

• Dad: He is a total shadow who wants to be with a human at all times. In fact, he refuses to be away from his people and will scale an 8-foot fence like a human just to get to you! 🧗‍♂️

• Mom & "Short Nose" Pup: This duo is tightly bonded and figured out how to either scale the fence or dig right under it to escape their enclosures.

• "Long Nose" Pup: She is the chill one of the group! She couldn't care less about escaping and is perfectly content relaxing in her space.

All four of them are exceptionally dog-friendly. During their various escape adventures, they ended up romping around with the foster’s personal dogs and did perfectly fine! They even took a little neighborhood stroll together once, but true to their loyal nature, they came right back on their own.

To make sure everyone gets enough to eat without getting pushy over food, we have been managing their spaces carefully. And today, we hit a massive milestone: Mom and Dad officially went to a foster home together! 🎉

🚨 URGENT: SEPARATE FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOMES NEEDED FOR THE PUPPIES! 🚨

Now that Mom and Dad are settled, we are looking to place each of the two puppies into separate foster or foster-to-adopt homes. These pups absolutely need to be separated from each other now so they can truly learn to thrive and grow independent.

About the Puppies:

• Age: Estimated to be around 7 months old.

• Vetting: Both are already fully spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and on flea and tick medication.

• Temperament: They are good dogs who have come a remarkably long way from how fearful they were at the beginning. However, they still need some patient work to fully open up, learn to trust, and build confidence.

• Training Needs: We do not believe they have ever lived inside a house before, so their new fosters will need to help them work on basic housebreaking.

If you have room in your home and a heart full of patience to help one of these gorgeous Shepherd pups learn how to be a cherished family dog, please step up for them!

👉 Interested in fostering or adopting one of the pups? Send us a direct message right now! Please SHARE this post to help these babies take the next big step in their rescue journey! ❤️🐾

🧼 DEEP CLEANED BUT COMPLETELY OUT OF SUPPLIES + UPCOMING ANIMAL UPDATES! 🚨

Our incredible team just spent the entire day deep cleaning the rescue kennel house from top to bottom, scrubbing every single animal space, and changing out everyone's bedding so the animals are fresh and cozy.

However, this massive deep clean completely wiped out the very last of our essential cleaning tools. We are completely out of supplies right now.
To keep up with our strict daily sweeping and mopping routine, we urgently need the community's help to restock these three major items:

• Libman Mop Heads: We literally wore out our very last Libman mop head today finishing up the floors. We have to buy a couple to hold us over, but we desperately need more donated to keep the kennels sanitary.

• Dual-Sided Dish Scrubbing Pads: We are down to our absolute last one. We use these daily (with the scrubby side on one part and the soft side on the other) to wipe down the big kennels, remove hair, and blast away debris.
• Paper Towels: We are officially down to our very last roll!

🐾 A CRITICAL RECKONING THIS WEEKEND:
We are completely beyond capacity. We physically cannot take in or help another single animal until some of our current residents move out into foster or forever homes.

Please stay tuned! This weekend, we will be posting updated pictures of all our available animals. We need local shares more than ever to help get these babies placed so we can open up space for the next emergencies.

If you can donate Libman mop heads, bulk paper towels, or dual-sided scrub pads, please drop a comment below or send us a DM to coordinate. Thank you all for making this work possible! 🙏❤️

🚨 VET BILL UPDATE & UPCOMING MEDICAL NEEDS: Help Us Clear Our Balance! 🚨

We are coming to our amazing community for help today as we face our next round of critical veterinary expenses. We hate asking because we know times are tough for everyone right now, but the reality is we simply cannot do this alone or without your support.

We currently have several dogs and cats who need updated vaccinations, plus three puppies who need their remaining puppy shots scheduled alongside their upcoming spay and neuter surgeries.

To keep moving forward, we need to handle these two major medical priorities:

1️⃣ Clear Our Current Outstanding Balance:
We currently have a $471.81 remaining balance at the clinic. Getting this paid off completely will give us one less massive worry on our shoulders and keep our account in good standing for the animals.

2️⃣ Prepare for the Shepherd Family's Return:
In exactly two weeks, the Shepherd family is due to go back to the clinic. The puppies will need their second round of DHPP vaccines. Additionally, Mom and Dad must be retested to ensure their antibiotics are successfully fighting off the Lyme disease and Anaplasmosis.

🐾 HOW YOU CAN HELP:
If you are able to spare even a few dollars to help us chip away at this bill, you can donate directly to our rescue account at the clinic!

📞 Call Rush Veterinary Center at 570-668-1222

👉 Tell them you want to donate toward the "Coal Mountain Animal Rescue" bill.

Every phone call and every donation—no matter how small—makes a massive difference for these animals. If you cannot donate right now, please SHARE this post to help us reach more animal lovers in our community. Thank you all for always standing by our side! 🐾❤️

🚨 CRITICAL SUPPLY SHORTAGE: We are running out of dry cat food and litter! 🚨

Community, we need a massive rally today. We recently went to secure a large supply haul, but we simply did not have enough funds to acquire everything our animals need. While we managed to grab a pallet of wet cat food, two pallets of dog food, and one pallet of miscellaneous items, we are now facing extreme shortages in several vital areas.

Here is what we urgently need to keep our rescues fed, clean, and comfortable:

🐱 CRITICAL CAT NEEDS:
• Dry Cat Food: We are critically low and barely have enough to get through tomorrow.

• Cat Litter: The supply center had no pallets of litter available and doesn't expect any for the foreseeable future. We have 10 large litter boxes running constantly across the rescue to ensure our cats have ample space, and we are running completely dry.

🧼 CRITICAL CLEANING & PUPPY SUPPLIES:
• Paper Towels: We are in extremely high need. We still have 3 puppies actively potty training, plus we use them constantly to wipe down big kennels and clean up daily messes.

• Laundry Supplies: Laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and fabric softener are desperately needed to keep up with our heavy daily mountain of animal bedding.

We are updating our Amazon Wishlist right now to reflect these urgent needs so items can be shipped directly to us. If you prefer to donate funds so we can buy these supplies locally this afternoon, you can send support directly through our official links below:
