Auburn Young Professionals showed up for a great night at Grain & Leaf Bottle Shop—and it did not disappoint. 🍷

From curated tastings to real conversations, the evening was all about connecting with other young professionals and discovering something new along the way. Mayor Anders provided an inside look at how local government in Auburn operates, followed by an engaging Q&A where attendees gained valuable insight into leadership, public service, and the inner workings of city council. Grateful for the opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together!

Our AYP members came together last week for an incredible Lunch with Leaders Event. This event was created to connect Auburn Young Professionals with local leaders who offer wisdom and advice in regards to leadership and professional development. We were beyond thrilled to welcome Lee County Circuit Clerk Mary Roberson to this event and she offered unforgettable advice to all those in attendance. We are thrilled to award our 2025 AYP Serve Award to Ashley Pope of the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center at Auburn University! 🎉 🏆

Ashley has been so dedicated to this program, and it is evident in her commitment to serve the Auburn community. Whether it be AYP Serve events with the Boys & Girls Club or attending our recurring Chamber events, Ashley can be found present with a smile.

As the Campus and Community Programs Coordinator for the Gogue, Ashley is responsible for connecting Auburn students and the Auburn community with the joys of the performing arts. Her own vibrant experience in performing arts makes her the perfect resource for getting connected to all the Gogue has to offer. We are beyond excited to award Oliver Lester of Himmelwright, Huguley & Boles with the 2025 AYP Connect Award! 🎉🏆

One of the biggest goals of the AYP program is connection. Oliver has been involved with this program for a few years now, and it has been such a privilege to see all the connections he has made, and those that have been made through him. Very rarely is there an AYP event where Oliver is free, and that is such a blessing!

In his role as Senior Accountant at Himmelwright, Huguley & Boles, Oliver still finds time to balance AYP while balancing all the books. It is because of commitment like Oliver’s that AYP is such an incredible program, so we truly thank you for all that you do for it! ❤️

Drew Haley is incredibly passionate about growing her own professional skills while helping others grow, too. And fun fact — she’s the youngest licensed female architect in the U.S.! Her hands-on drive and leadership show up all throughout our young professional program, and we’re so grateful to have her involved.

AYP Kickoff 2026 was a home run—thank you to everyone who made it so special! ✨

Last week, Auburn Young Professionals and community members came together at the annual AYP Kickoff event to make new connections, strengthen old ones, and celebrate the start of a new, exciting year! 🥳

The brand-new Plainsman Park Hall of Fame Club was the perfect place for the young professional community to come together and enjoy good food, drinks and conversation.

Last month, we had a wonderful time at our holiday AYP Connect Event! It was a joy to get into the holiday spirit while building new connections with fellow young professionals in the area. We are grateful to see these relationships continue to grow, especially during the most wonderful time of the year.
