ADOPTED! Jesse!❤️

Jesse found an amazing home! From a life outdoors with Giardia and coccidia to a healthy happy indoor world. Jesse was a scrawny little thing when Erica took him in to foster. Despite it all, he fought to be strong and now gets to live the dream life. Jordyn applied for him after seeing his adorable photo. Jordyn has another kitty at home and wanted to get him a friend. Jordyn and Katie made the visit to Victoria and Erica’s and by the time we got there, he was already loving on them and playing. It was time for his big day! Off he went to go meet his new sibling who could also be his twin. Yay for beautiful tabbies! Look at him smiling in that one photo🥹. Jordyn told us they are getting along great 🥰🥰.

Jesse is now named Scooby— love it!! We hope he gets lots of Scooby snacks for being such a good boy. Thank you so much Jordyn and Katie for choosing to adopt and giving him the life he’s always deserved and dreamed of. Thank you again Erica and Victoria for doing a great job taking them in, socializing and fostering! Yayyyy Scooby!!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🐾🐾🐾

🚨GRAPHIC WARNING 🚨 POSSIBLE RINGWORM for ET and ELLIOT😭😭😭

I noticed a few days ago some patchy hair behind Elliot’s ear. The hair loss progressed and he started losing some chunks around his feet and legs. Eeek! Off to the vet we went. Dr Hendrix and Ansley took a look at him under the black light and he had a little glow to him. He agreed he thinks it’s ringworm but is doing a fungal culture to confirm. It will take time for those results so he sent us home with some anti fungal foam for them. Elliot looks filthy with a brown belly and weird colored fur, but I read up on it and it is just the foam oxidizing. Phew! We have them tentatively on the schedule for their eye surgeries this Wednesday even though ET has not yet hit 2lbs. His eyes just are getting bigger and nastier so Dr. Johnson looked more into doing it before 2lbs like she did with Tickles. We will share more on that soon. But man these poor little babies. 😭😭.

I know most rescues will say ringworm isn’t a huge deal, and thats normally probably true… BUT…On a personal note, this is a dreadful diagnosis for me and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. About 8 years ago after rescuing a litter with ringworm, I broke out in a full body ringworm rash— 100+ ringworm lesions. I still have scars from the biopsies and bad lesions. 104 fever in the ER.. it was awful to say the least. For most healthy people, it’s no big deal, just a small rash if they catch it…. but having a horrible immune system, I get literally the worst of everything. So I am on eggshells. 😰. My mom is doing the cleaning of their quarantine bathtub and their foam treatments so at least I will have less exposure.

But as we always preach, this case is a perfect example of why you should ALWAYS quarantine new kittens and wear gloves!! They didn’t appear to have any signs of ringworm upon arrival until almost 2 weeks here. 🙌🏼🙌🏼. We will keep you guys posted on the ringworm culture and the plan with their eyes for this week.

If you can help at all, it’s greatly appreciated❤️

ADOPTED! Lisa Marie❤️

Lisa Marie chose her family! Yep, it went exactly like that! Courtney was looking to add a new kitty to the family so her current cat would have a friend. we all met over at Erica’s for their meet and greet. Courtney and her son Wilder really spent time getting to know each kitten. Wilder was having a blast playing with them all and watching them jump through the air after the toys— it was so cute. One kitten really stood out to them— Lisa Marie. She kept trotting over to them, playing, and was letting them know SHE wanted to be their new family member. 😬. She was the one!

Lisa Marie was renamed Fern and her family loves her so much. Here is what Courtney had to say: “She is doing amazing, already so much bigger. She loves her new sister Tilly! And is very much a cuddle bug 🩵”. Hip hip hooray!!! We are so happy for Fern and her new family.

Thank you Courtney and family for adopting this sweet girl. And of course, thank you Erica and Victoria for helping save and foster her. ❤️❤️

4 months here and no adoption for Chickweed and Henbit. 🥺. I am beginning to lose hope that they’ll be adopted. 😭😭

These two girls and their brother came to us back in April as feral spicy kittens. Their brother was adopted into a loving home and the girls patiently waited for their big day too. Both of them are very sweet, but terrified of new people and hide whenever people come for meet and greets. They are never chosen. 😣. It took them a while to learn to trust me, so I expect that with a new home too…. We just have to find the right patient family who understands that. The girls have embraced becoming friends with the postal babies and Rocky when they were here so we know they would really thrive with a cat friend too or together!

The girls are about 6 months old now. We would hate for them to not find a home. Every cat that stays, we are more limited in how much rescue we can do… especially having our hands full already with so many permanent special needs cats… we really can’t keep any, especially those who are healthy and well like the girls! So please help us share these ladies and let’s keep our fingers and toes crossed for the very best home who will understand them and love them despite them being so shy at first! ❤️

YAYY!! Traps donated to help with TNR!! Sending out a big thank you to our friend Laurendi at Furballs Cat Rescue for thinking of us!

When Laurendi called us and said she had a bunch of cat traps she would like to donate if we wanted any, we were so excited! Yes yes yes please! We only own a handful of traps and are constantly loaning them out and scrambling to get them together when we need them—so this is tremendously helpful. My husband and I headed out to meet her and were shocked at the whole situation😱. Check out her page to read the full story and send some love! It’s a really cool story you’ll wanna read for yourself 😬. Furballs Cat Rescue

We are so grateful to have support and friendship with other rescues where we can all help each other❤️❤️. Laurendi even dropped a bunch off with our friends at PURR Patrol doing TNR for Barrow county …and let us fill our car up to help give to some local friend trappers too. AMAZING! ❤️❤️

Best of all, Furballs will be starting up their own TNR program out in the Atlanta area. Excited for them ❤️. Thank you again Furballs Cat Rescue and to the couple who generously donated them all to her. Hopefully we all can fill those traps up and get those kitties fixed. Saving lives together🙌🏼🙌🏼🫶🫶🐾🐾

Our little blind babies say THANK YOU!! We asked for Terramycin and you guys helped stock us up. We have never flown through a tube so quickly as with these babies. Having such enlarged globes, both eyes, 2 cats, 4x per day, we are going through it like water. So we are SOOOO grateful for all the donations sent!! The update on ET and Elliot is that they might end up having surgery sooner than later— Dr. Johnson is coming up with a plan❤️❤️🐾🐾!

Thank you everyone for all the kind notes of encouragement for the babies…….Thank you Julia Murphy 🤍 , my former coworker who is a huge animal rights activist and advocate for the syringes, fancy feast and ointment! Thank you Chris H, Hansel and Gretel’s feeder momma for the 2x ointment! Thank you Carolyn D, Joeys momma(formerly Sunny) for the 2x ointment! Thank you Chrisaren P for the ointment! Thank you Susan R for the ointment! Thank you sister, Allie Ann for the ointment! Thank you Harriet T for the ointment x2! Thank you Jennifer and Jacob, Russ’ foster family, for the litter! And thank you cousin Karla, huge animal lover, for the paper pellets and ointment! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We are so lucky to have you all on our team fighting for these babies 🥹🐾

ADOPT ME! GRETEL 🐾🍫

Meet Gretel! This gorgeous girl is one of a pair of twins, and she is every bit as sweet as she looks! Gretel has the most beautiful dark-and-milk-chocolate swirly marble coat and piercing golden eyes that seem to radiate her loving, gentle nature. She’s a calm, cuddly kitten who is perfectly content snuggling in your lap or curling up on a cozy bed with her brother. 🥰 She does have her playful moments, of course, but overall, Gretel is a laid-back little girl who would be a wonderful fit for a family looking for a kitten without the full kitten energy! Sweet, nurturing, gentle, and oh-so-snuggly — Gretel is ready to find her forever family!🐾❤️

Gretel is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and fiv/felv tested. Her adoption donation fee is $75 towards her care. If you would like to meet her and the other available kitties, you can find the link in our bio on IG or below on FB!! Please help us find this sweetheart her home by sharing 😊❤️.

ADOPT ME! HANSEL🥨

Hansel is a very handsome kitty and so exotic looking! He has a swirly marble pattern and long stripes down his back. Even his face has that wild cat look to it. But the very best thing about this boy is his loving calm natured personality. He is trusting and after only 1 day with us, he was LOVING being held like a baby for some belly rubs. He melts and just purrs away. Very docile❤️. He loves playing with his sister and snuggling so he would do great as a kitry sibling or even as a pair with Gretel! We are searching for a home to give him all the love he deserves! He is a full package sweet boy!

Hansel has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, fiv/felv tested, and dewormed. His adoption donation fee is $75 towards part of his vetting. Come meet him, his sister, and the other kitties needing homes 😊😊. You can find an application at the link below or in our bio on IG. Please share to help us get the word out about this beautiful boy. 🐾

Hi, I’m Bobbie Sue! I’ve been hanging here at crazy cat kitten rescue for a few weeks while they feed me to get me big and fat— check out my belly. First I was a bottle baby and now I’m a piglet with my wet food and I WILL fight you for it. A really nice lady named Sue was taking a walk in her neighborhood and spotted me all alone, my momma didn’t come around so she took me in. Sue and her friend Betty worked really hard to TNR all the cats in their neighborhood, but I alerted them to another colony up the road. They almost have them all fixed now too! Such heroes❤️.

Not long after I arrived to CCKR, I already had a home waiting for me before they even posted me as a little baby. Wow! One of the neighbors and friends of Sue and Betty there are going to be my new momma and family. Yayy!! I think that’s why you’re just seeing my adorable face now so the other kitties needing homes could be seen more 🥰. I am so excited that I’m almost big enough for my spa spay day and then off to my forever family.

I’m quite special I’m told. I’m an orange female, which is not common…but.. I’m also a bobtail kitten! Isn’t that neat? CCKR had no idea until they showed up to help me and were shocked at my lack of a big tail!😮. Thank you everyone for helping support CCKR to help save little kittens like me and make sure we get all the best care before going to our homes! Thank you to Sue and Betty for TNR-ing my neighborhood so no babies are born to the outdoor life struggles. I’m glad I’m safe thanks to them. 🙌🏼❤️
