It’s that time again‼️ Our annual silent auction to raise money for our Guatemala outreach program is 10am - 2pm next Friday, April 17th, and next Saturday, April 18th during A-Day!

We will have lots of merchandise and baskets available to bid on so join us for a chance to win! Items will be posted soon for a preview of what we have and to give you time to plan your bids!

All the money raised will be going directly to the Guatemala Outreach Program to provide underprivileged children audiological care! We can’t wait to see you!!🧡💙

We are so excited to introduce our team heading to Guatemala in May🇬🇹! This team is heading to provide audiological services to the deaf and hard of hearing children at a school for the deaf and blind in Guatemala City.
To support this team, in addition to our annual silent auction (more details to come), an Amazon wishlist has been set up to donate items that will be directly used on this trip. Every contribution makes a difference, and we thank you for supporting our students and the children we serve!🩵🦻🏼

AU Speech & Hearing Clinic got a visit from everyone’s favorite Tiger! Aubie was able to tour the clinic and get checked out by our AuD students. He even learned some ASL & got to try on a Hearing Aid!🐯🤘🏻🦻🏼

In Memoriam: James F. Jerger, PhD

James F. Jerger, PhD, was the Founder of the American Academy of Audiology and served as its first president. He created the Journal of the American Academy of Audiology and served as its first editor-in-chief for more than 25 years. He was a gifted and prolific writer, a renowned scientist, and a beloved teacher and colleague.

Dr. Jerger enjoyed a career that was magnificent, courageous, and generous. His legacy lives on in the thousands and thousands who learned so much from his magnificent, courageous, and generous contributions to the profession of audiology.

Auburn University students and Dr. Alisha Jones - Audiologist toured at our building and were advised on what resources we provided. They heard the case manager for the deaf Debbie Thomas give a presentation about AIDB and her life experience/background with her deaf family and her cochlear implant.
