💛 September was Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, but we’re not slowing down in October.
We spent the month honoring the children and young adults facing cancer, the families standing beside them, survivors, and the loved ones we carry with us.
At The Power of Will, we’re committed to supporting families and raising funds for sarcoma research that can lead to better treatments and brighter futures.
Thank you to everyone who shared, donated, showed up, and helped us spread awareness. September may be over, but we’ll keep shining a light on childhood cancer and sarcoma awareness. 💛

A childhood cancer diagnosis changes more than a child’s life. It changes the whole family. Parents become caregivers. Siblings become part of a journey they never expected. Families rearrange schedules, jobs, school, meals, celebrations—and sometimes their entire lives.
And in the middle of it all, there is still a child who wants to laugh, play, make memories, and feel like a kid.
That’s why The Power of Will believes supporting a pediatric cancer patient means supporting the whole family.
This September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we’re standing with every child battling cancer and every family walking beside them.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and awareness starts with knowing the facts.

Here are a few facts worth sharing:
🎗️More than 290 children and adolescents in the U.S. are diagnosed with cancer every week.
🎗️Cancer remains the leading cause of death by disease among children.
🎗️Leukemia is the most common type of childhood cancer, but children can also develop brain tumors, lymphomas, and solid tumors, including sarcomas.
🎗️In the U.S., more than 80% of children with cancer survive, but there is still so much work to do, and some childhood cancers remain difficult to treat.

These aren’t just numbers.
They represent children. Parents. Brothers and sisters. Families. Futures.

At The Power of Will, we believe every child deserves hope, support, and the opportunity to grow up and live the life they imagined.

This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, help us spread the word and show up for the families who need us.

September is a month to turn the world gold in honor of the children and families whose lives have been changed by cancer.
Behind every diagnosis is a child who deserves the chance to grow up, go to school, make memories, chase dreams, and simply be a kid.
And behind every child is a family navigating appointments, treatments, uncertainty, fear, hope, and countless moments of courage.
At The Power of Will, we know that childhood cancer affects the entire family. That’s why we’re committed to supporting pediatric sarcoma patients and the people who love them—not just during treatment, but throughout the journey.
This month, wear gold. Share a story. Start a conversation. Support a family.
Most importantly, help us make sure childhood cancer is never faced alone.

As backpacks are packed and school bells begin to ring, many families are celebrating a new school year.
For children living with sarcoma, and their siblings, back-to-school can bring excitement, but also uncertainty. There may be treatment schedules, doctor’s appointments, new routines, and emotions that classmates can’t always see.
To every pediatric sarcoma warrior heading back to school:
We see your courage.
We celebrate your resilience.
We believe in your strength.
And to the parents, caregivers, teachers, and school staff walking alongside these incredible children—thank you for creating spaces filled with compassion, flexibility, and understanding.
Wishing every child a school year filled with learning, friendship, and moments of joy, wherever their classroom may be.
