WE’RE LOOKING FOR A LITTLE MIRACLE!
We still have $900 to raise for this week’s feed bill, and we’re hoping our incredible community can help us make a little magic happen. Right now, 30 amazing people have joined our $500 Club, and we are SO grateful for every single one of you! You are helping us build something truly special: a community of people who believe these animals deserve a safe, happy life, no matter what they’ve been through. But we still need you. 🎉 WE HAVE A $500 DONATION MATCH UNTIL MONDAY! An anonymous donor has generously offered to match donations up to $500! That means your donation can go twice as far and help us get closer to covering this week’s feed bill.

$10 becomes $20.
$25 becomes $50.
$50 becomes $100.

And if 50 people donated just $10, imagine what we could accomplish together! Our animals have survived abuse, neglect, abandonment, and circumstances no animal should ever have to endure. One month with this little fighter, and what a journey it’s been! When C***r first came to us, we honestly weren’t sure if she was going to make it. Between emergency vet visits, days spent in the veterinary hospital on oxygen, and eventually coming home still needing oxygen around the clock, this girl has given us some very scary moments. There were times when all we could do was hope, pray, and keep fighting right alongside her. And look at her now! C***r is THRIVING! While she does have limited vision, she is so much healthier and stronger than when she arrived. She’s breathing completely on her own, exploring her surroundings, and even spending time with the other animals! Every little milestone feels like a HUGE victory, and watching her discover the world around her has been such a beautiful thing. This is what rescue is all about. Sometimes, saving a life means sleepless nights, scary decisions, unexpected vet bills, and pouring your heart into an animal when you don’t know what tomorrow will bring. But then you get moments like these, and you’re reminded exactly why we do it. C***r, you are so loved, little girl! We are so grateful you’re here, and we can’t wait to watch you continue to grow, explore, and live the happy life you deserve. One month down, and a whole lifetime of love ahead! We had quite a morning here at Lily‘s ranch and Rescue! We got a call late last night if we could take a cat to keep his owner from being evicted. The owner wasn’t successful with any other rescues at the time so we said yes and picked up the cat this morning. When we arrived back at the Sanctuary, we were met by the county Mowing Crew, who found a kitten in an engine of a vehicle at the courthouse so they brought it to us. Our good friends at Fluffs Sake Cat Rescue INC offered to take the older cat and get him vetted immediately so he can be adopted out. He is a very sweet boy and his name is Finch. The baby has a few weeks before we can go to the vet and have him fixed and since he’s pure black, we will wait till after Halloween to adopt him out. Everyone meet Lucky. We don’t normally help with cats but both were in desperate situations, and we had to act fast. We don’t like leaving our community without options and we will help whenever possible🖤

HAPPY Tuesday everyone! We are continuing to grow our 500 CLUB!
Our goal this week is at least 70 new sponsors. That'll donate $10 a month to help us with our feed and care goal every month. We spent a little over $5000 a month to care for everybody here at our Sanctuary and with your help we can continue our journey with these animals so they never have to worry about their next meal whether it's gonna come or not
If you are unable to help, that's OK please share our post and please help us spread the word someone you know maybe wanting to help thank you so much. This week are trying to cover our Hay bill which is $700 and that'll last us till probably Tuesday

HI EVERYONE, IT’S LAZARUS & PHOENIX! We’re the two skinny girls working hard to put on weight and get healthy here at Lily’s Ranch & Rescue! When we arrived, we had a lot of weight to gain and healing to do. Now, we’re getting our bellies full, enjoying our hay, and working toward a brighter future. But growing stronger takes A LOT of groceries!Today, our friends at the ranch need to raise $300 for our grain, and they still need $700 to cover hay for all our friends here at the sanctuary. That’s a whole lot of hay and grain, but it’s what keeps our bellies full and helps us all thrive! Can you help us? A one time donation of any amount helps put food in our feeders today! Is there anything better than watching our animals enjoy a fresh pumpkin haul?! Those happy faces are exactly why we make the drive to bring home fresh produce for our residents! But here’s the thing: fresh produce isn’t just a delicious treat. It can also be a wonderful addition to a healthy, balanced diet for our pigs and cows!

🎃 Did you know pumpkins have some great nutritional benefits?

🐷 For our pigs: Pumpkins contain fiber to help support healthy digestion, along with vitamins and minerals that contribute to overall health. They’re also rich in water, making them a hydrating, low calorie treat that can be especially helpful for pigs who need to watch their weight!

🐮 For our cows: Pumpkins provide fiber, moisture, and nutrients, including beta-carotene, which the body can convert into vitamin A.

And let’s be honest, watching a pig happily munch away on a pumpkin or seeing our cows enjoy a special seasonal treat is pretty hard to beat! We believe animal care is about so much more than simply keeping bellies full. It’s about providing variety, enrichment, and opportunities for our animals to enjoy life. There’s truly nothing we wouldn’t do for our pigs. Every year, at the end of harvest season, our previous neighbors are kind enough to offer us pumpkins from their fields. And every year, we make the hour long drive to pick them for our pigs and cows. It’s a lot of work. Picking, loading, hauling, unloading… But when you know it means full bellies and happy animals, it’s more than worth it. We’re so grateful for the relationships we’ve built with our neighbors and for the generosity they show our animals year after year. What might be leftover from a harvest to someone else becomes a special treat for the animals here at Lily’s Ranch & Rescue. We may be tired, muddy, and sore by the end of the day, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Because when you’re part of this rescue, you quickly learn that there is no such thing as “too much work” when it comes to giving these animals the life they deserve. Another pumpkin haul means another very happy herd! 🎃

Another good day to be an animal at Lily’s Ranch & Rescue! Yesterday was a busy one! We picked up our grain for the week and stocked up on lots of fresh produce for our residents. With so many animals depending on us every single day, keeping everyone happy, healthy, and well-fed is one of our biggest priorities. From our biggest horses to our tiniest pigs, everyone here deserves to have full bellies and plenty of love. We’re so grateful for everyone who helps make these everyday moments possible. Every bag of grain, every load of produce, and every donation helps us continue caring for the animals who call Lily’s Ranch home. Another day, another full barn, full bellies, and very happy animals. It’s a good day to be an animal at Lily’s Ranch & Rescue. ❤️
