STUDENT WORK SPOTLIGHT‼️
Our spotlight for today is, Maddie Jackson!

Maddie is a junior majoring in Agricultural Business and Economics. This summer she is working with her family on Jackson Farms!

When asked about her day to day, Maddie said, “Everyday on the farm is a little different. The first thing we do is walk the chicken houses, pick up the dead, and check for any mechanical failures. If we have any empty houses, we then start to clean them so we can then prepare for baby chicks. Depending on the time of year, we are either cutting or baling hay in the summer, or feeding cows and putting out the hay during the winter.”

Maddie’s favorite part about working on Jackson Farms is being home for the summer and working along side her family!

Yay Maddie! 🐓🐄👩🏻‍🌾
