We had a great weekend over at Conclave hosted by Haywood Community College! After a day of competing in individual competitions, a team field competition, and quiz bowl, we all went on field trips to enhance our knowledge of wildlife.

Some of our members went "h**ping," aka spent the day searching for salamanders in the Smokies! Others went to learn about electro fishing in the best way known to man: by doing it themselves! We had another group that performed necropsies on roadkill deer to determine their exact cause of death.

Join us tomorrow night at 7 p.m. for a spooky h**p meeting with Jimmy Stiles! We will be getting to see live reptiles and amphibians & learning more about them. This will be a joint meeting with the Society for Conservation Biology and there will be snacks! Hope too see everyone there!! 🎃🐍👻🦎
