It was a fruit fest last week at our monthly food pickup! In addition to our regular pantry staples, bread, and frozen foods we also passed out 4 different types of fresh fruit. Apples, grapes, pears, AND plums, OH MY!

Help us unload pallets and stack boxes, pack food and snack bags, and stock freezers.

Saturday October 11th from 7:30am- 10:30am
Help set up, load food bags and boxes into cars as they come through our drive-thru line, and clean up afterwards.

Standing, walking, and lifting/moving boxes and bags is the bulk of the work done and we could definitely use 1-2 more people who can repeatedly lift 20-40 lbs during a 1 hour period, however we have positions for all ability levels!

Our monthly food distribution was April 12th, and here’s what was provided to our neighbors!

180 families supported
250 bags of pantry staples and 1200lbs of eggs!

Also included were frozen fish fillets, shredded cheese, fresh plums, chips, cereal, shelf stable milk, and fruit juice.

This month April distribution date is the 12th, expect another 600 dozen eggs along with 3000 # of fresh fruit to be passed out. We also have donations from our local community of cereal , helth bars and chips. The protein is fish.

Our March distribution was a couple weeks ago and we were able to help 181 families with their monthly food needs! In total we moved approximately 17,000lbs of food (wow!) which included passing out almost 600 cartons of eggs and 3,500lbs of fresh fruit!

Big thanks to all our awesome volunteers who helped move that food around, one pound at a time! 💪🏻
