We have learned that Chief McEachin is going to retire at the end of August and Lieutenant Novetzke will be his replacement as Chief of Police. PAL would like to thank Chief McEachin for his strong support and encouragement. We know that Chief Novetzke will continue this support and encouragement for PAL and work hand in hand with us. Congratulations to both.

With a heavy heart we are sad to say retired Atwater Police Chief John Riis Christensen has passed away. He was dedicated to the Atwater police department. He started his career as a reserve police officer and worked his way all the way to Chief of Police. He was very kind and humble. Thank you Chief.
