JMJ Maternity Home Donation Update

As JMJ Maternity Home walks through a challenging season of transition and uncertainty, we are doing our best to focus on the immediate needs of the mothers and children currently in our care.

At this time, we are not accepting clothing, furniture, or kitchen item donations due to limited space and our current circumstances.

Our greatest needs right now are:

Hygiene items
Diapers in sizes 4, 5, and 6
Monetary donations

Financial support helps us respond to the most urgent needs of our moms and babies, including daily essentials, housing-related needs, transportation, and continued care during this difficult time.

I heard this song today, “The Woman at the Well” by Jennie Williamson, and it truly touched my heart, so I wanted to share it with you.

It is such a beautiful reminder that Jesus meets us right where we are—with grace, mercy, and love. No matter our past or what we may be carrying, we are never beyond His reach.

I hope this song blesses someone today as much as it blessed me. 🤍

Faith in the "In-Between" ✨

After the Ascension, the disciples entered a season of waiting. They didn't have all the answers yet, but they had a promise: they would never be alone.

At JMJ Maternity Home, we see this "holy waiting" every day in the lives of our mothers. Whether waiting for a new baby, a new home, or a new beginning, we take comfort in knowing that God is with us in every transition.

Today, let’s find peace in the promise that He is preparing a place and a path for each of us. 🙏

Celebrating the Ascension of Jesus

Today marks the traditional Feast of the Ascension, falling 40 days after the miracle of Easter.

This beautiful solemnity reminds us that Christ’s earthly mission was completed in victory. As He ascended into Heaven to reign at the right hand of the Father, He didn't leave us behind—He paved the way for the Holy Spirit to guide us and for the Church to grow.

At JMJ Maternity Home, we find great hope in this feast. It serves as a powerful reminder that we are never alone. Through the Holy Spirit, Christ remains present in our work, in our homes, and in the lives of the mothers and babies we serve.

As we celebrate this holy feast today and throughout the coming weekend—with many of our local parishes observing the solemnity this Sunday, May 17th—may we lift our hearts toward Heaven, living as faithful witnesses of His love here on earth. 🙏✨

What a blessing it is today to share mother’s day lunch with some amazing mothers in our community!!
