Attleboro CERT Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) offers training and information so people can be prepared in the event of an emergency.

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Using the training learned in the classroom and during exercises, CERT members can assist others in their neighborh

ood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help. CERT members also are encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking a more active role in emergency preparedness projects in their community.

Attn. Attleboro Residents:

💦Heavy rain and strong winds are expected Sunday into Monday, potentially causing tree damage and street flooding.

✅Please clear your gutters and downspouts of fallen leaves so rainwater can move quickly away from your home.

✅Extending downspouts at least several feet away from your home is also advised.

✅Secure or store away any loose items on your property.

✅If safely possible to do so, please remove collected leaves and debris from storm drains near your home to help minimize street flooding.

✅Be careful driving and avoid driving through flooded areas.
