Over 200 volunteers showed up on a cold, misty day and got to work and it paid off. Together, we collected 290 bags of trash and removed dozens of bulk items like tires, hoses, and car parts from our roadsides and woodlands.

This is what it looks like when people take care of their community.

If you took photos, we’d love to see them. Feel free to drop them in the comments or tag our page.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made a real difference in Attleboro!

Attleboro, MA, is taking steps to reduce flood and stormwater damage and increase drought resilience by creating a “Miyawaki Pocket Forest” with a great diversity and high density of native tree species that will collaborate to deepen soils that absorb and hold water, many times that of a stand of a single tree species.

Volunteers will be scheduled for May 2, 2026, to plant 520 native trees and shrubs across 52 species in the old ball field between Capron Park Zoo and Attleboro High School.
