Next Series: Prayer - More Than a List

This four-lesson topical series will discuss the topic of prayer. Students will learn to praise God for His attributes, confess sins to God, express thanksgiving to God, and learn how to pray for themselves and for others.

Sticky Statements:
- Wonder leads us to worshipful prayer.
- Confession starts with agreement from the heart.
- Pray with an attitude of gratitude.
- Cast your cares in constant prayer.

Just a friendly reminder that there is no Teens Alive tonight (4/9) due to school break.

There is a family LEGO night going on tonight from 6:30 - 8:00, if anyone is interested.

Thank you to everyone who has already signed up for Praise Banquet (4/18). If you have not signed up, or had someone sign you up, you need to sign up with Adam by the end of this Saturday (4/11).

Over the weekend a group of our Teens attended the annual Recharge Conference.

The theme for this year's conference was "The Dare - Where is Your Faith?" based on Luke 8:25.

Students were challenged in the main speaker sessions to...
- Dare to live by faith in difficult circumstances
- Dare to follow Christ
- Dare to forsake

Workshops included (each student picked 3):
- Dare to Share God's Story
- Dare to Date Biblically
- Dare to Develop a Bible Reading Plan
- Dare to Serve
- Dare to Resolve Conflict Biblically
- Dare to Stand
- Dare to Have a Thriving Relationship With Your Parents

A few takeaways that apply to all of us, both young and old:
- Be Bold! Stand firm in your faith!
- Following Christ is all that matters! ⭐
- If Jesus called you to follow him right now and leave everything behind (family, friends, your job, possessions, etc.), would you?

Next Series: Short Books - New Testament

We'll be studying the one-chapter books of the New Testament — 2 John, 3 John, Jude, and Philemon. Specifically, we'll focus on building your faith, serving others, defending your faith, and forgiving others.

Sticky Statements:
- God’s truth is absolute.
- Walk the talk.
- Real faith exposes the fakes.
- The forgiven should forgive.
