The WaterSafe Project continues to grow! The Bloomville Lions have now contributed to “Partners for Care” to send 80 bags to the children in Kenya to have safe drinking water. With the WaterSafe organization matching the club’s donation, their impact will double! Thank you for believing in helping others around the globe.

The International Lions Convention was held in Hong Kong on July 3-7, 2026. Although none of our members attended, two Attica Lions were featured on posters and flyers passed out in the Exhibit Hall to promote the WaterSafe Project.
Our Lions and LEOs successfully made contributions with a bake sale and donations to help nursery-schoolers in Kenya, Africa, have safe water to drink.
LEO Advisor Lion Dana and her husband Lion Dick Leber picked up the idea at the 2025 Orlando Lions Convention, and brought to fruition $1,000 in donations for bags. With a doubled amount matched by Partners for Care, 200 WaterSafe bags were sent so that thousands of nursery school children will be served with safe drinking water! We thank the LEOs of Seneca East, the Attica Lions Club, and the Republic Lions Club for making this dream a reality!

We also appreciate Bloomville Lion Tom Miller for getting pizzas from Smitty’s to feed everyone throughout the afternoon. We had a successful day! 🩸
