🧵💚 What a great day at our 4-H Sewing Workshop!

Our 4-H’ers learned how to sew their very own aprons while building new skills and confidence. Even better, they’ll have the opportunity to enter their finished projects in the upcoming Atoka County Free Fair! 🎉

A huge thank you to Atoka County OHCE and Atoka Library for partnering with us to make this workshop possible! We had a couple of Coal County 4-H’ers join us as well!

Atoka County 4-H Enrollment! 🍀

Enrollment for the 2026–2027 4-H year opens August 1st, and we are excited to welcome new and returning members to Atoka County 4-H.

4-H gives youth opportunities to learn new skills, make friends, serve their community, and explore projects such as animals, cooking, STEM, photography, leadership, and more.

This year, all enrollment and payments must be completed online through ZSuite. We will not accept paper enrollment forms!

Returning members, don’t forget to re-enroll for the new 4-H year.

Start gathering your turtles 🐢, pick out those adorable farm animal outfits 🐐🐓, and round up your favorite we**ie dogs 🌭🐶—it’s going to be a fun-filled week for the whole family!

Think your chili is unbeatable or your homemade ice cream is the best around? Put it to the test by entering our Chili Cook-Off or Homemade Ice Cream Contest on Thursday, August 27, 2026!

Whether you’re entering exhibits, showing livestock, racing we**ie dogs, or just coming for the food and fun, there’s something for everyone at the Atoka County Free Fair. We can’t wait to see you there!

Braylee and Laramie Price attended Animal Science Field Day at Star Creek Angus Ranch, where they had the opportunity to learn about many different aspects of the livestock industry. Throughout the day, they explored EPDs, livestock evaluation, reproduction, and used a calving simulator. They also participated in a swine fetal dissection, gaining valuable hands-on experience.

It was a great day filled with learning, new experiences, and opportunities to grow their knowledge of animal science. We are proud of these 4-H’ers for taking advantage of this educational experience and representing our county so well! 🍀🐮🐷

Registration is extended to June 10!!! Still time to get registered!!

The registration deadline is Monday, June 1st.

NEW! Registration and fee will be handled on ZSuite this year. All youth, parents, volunteers, educators, etc. who are attending need to register and pay the $5 registration fee per person for the event.

Last week, our 4-H campers had an incredible time at camp! They had the opportunity to meet and make new friends from neighboring counties while learning new skills, building confidence, and making lifelong memories.🍀
