Walk, Bike, Run Atlas Township

Walk, Bike, Run Atlas Township Efforts to add trails for walking, hiking, biking, and running throughout Atlas Township, increasing the walkability of our community one path at a time.

Residents of communities across Michigan and the country are desiring the number of hike (walk) and bike paths increased in their communities if they don't already have them. Residents of Atlas Township in Michigan feel the same way. This page was developed to keep the residents of Atlas Township updated on the effort to increase the number of hike (walk) and bike paths within the township, and at

the same time encourage the residents to voice their support to increase the number of paths in the township. Updates will be made weekly or more often as this effort progresses.

******UPCOMING MEETING NOTICE***
The scheduled meeting of the Walk, Bike, Run Atlas Township committee for Tuesday May 5, 2026 has been postponed to Tuesday May 12, 2026 which starts at 6p at the Atlas Township Hall. The change is due to the election happening in the Atlas Township Hall for the Grand Blanc School system.

All of the Walk, Bike, Run Atlas Township committee meetings are open to the public.

The Goodrich Cemetery Board is asking for our community's help, we need some volunteers to work with the spring clean up at The Historic Goodrich Cemetery, Saturday April 25, 2026, 9am-12noon. The Historic Goodrich Cemetery holds far more than names and dates. It's a rich open-air museum full of symbolism carved in stone, many life stories, and has an attractive park-like atmosphere, and keeps our community archives that deserve ongoing care and attention. Let's work together to preserve the historical significance of the cemetery grounds and create a more beautiful and peaceful final resting place for our founding pioneers, veterans, families and friends. Thank you for your support!
