SOV Got Handled 🛹🔥

The day and crew came through Sovereign Ave was pure chaos — the good kind. From start to finish, the energy was wild, and the level of skating was even crazier.

But nothing topped what Atlantic City’s own (Jeremiah Watson) did. Ollieing the Love Park trash can on flat — no setup, no ramp — just raw talent and pop. One of the heaviest tricks ever done at SOV. Straight hometown legend status.

“Today is a Skate Day in the Great City of Atlantic City! 🛹💥”

Groundbreaking would be an understatement. Two decades ago we called this place Dream Banks—a school wrapped in perfect brick bank ramps, ledges, and stairs. Cops kicked us out. Teachers chased us off. We weren’t welcome here.

Now we’re building a skatepark here.
Let that sink in. To have the support of the city council and is so important when it comes to developing these types of community hubs for so many different generations of creative minds to utilize. Our level of gratitude is indescribable.

From trespassers to community builders. From getting kicked out to cutting the ribbon.

Dreams really do come true.
Today, , officially touched down in Atlantic City. We met on-site, scoped out the design, and locked in the layout. We will be breaking ground this week—construction starts tomorrow. If you want to support bring the builders waters, food, and support when they are out here for the next month in the heat building us an amazing legendary skatepark.

We’re building Atlantic City’s newest skatepark, and in 4–6 weeks, we’ll be unveiling something special for the entire East Coast.

This is just the beginning. SkateAC is committed to reshaping the skate scene on the East Coast and beyond. This is our second park—and it won’t be our last.

We couldn’t have done this without the City’s support—and even more importantly, the community. Every single one of you who shows up, respects the park, tags us, films clips, shares photos, and spreads the love… you’re why this works.

Atlantic City has one of the livest, most loving, and most diverse skate scenes in America—and maybe the world. Let’s keep building. 💪🏽🔥🛹
