UNITE HERE Local 54 UNITE HERE Local 54 is the largest hospitality workers union in NJ, Eastern PA and Delaware with over 14,000 members. Our members in the U.S.

UNITE HERE Local 54 has been representing hospitality workers in the Atlantic City area for over 100 years. Our members work as housekeepers, bartenders, cocktail servers, cooks, bellmen, doormen, and other service jobs in the casinos and hospitality industry of South Jersey. With almost 11,000 members, Local 54 is the largest private sector union in South Jersey. Local 54 is an affiliate of UNITE

HERE, an international labor union that represents 270,000 working people across North America. and Canada work in the hotel, gaming, food service, manufacturing, textile, distribution, laundry, transportation, and airport industries.

Members at Golden Nugget Casino Hotel voted unanimously to ratify their one-year contract extension, with 100% casting ballots in favor. The agreement fully funds all benefits, preserves every win achieved in 2022, provides for wage increases for all bargaining unit members and more. Thank you to the committee and staff for all of their hard work.

We will continue fighting until all contract extensions are secured - one more to go!

Members at Resort’s Casino Hotel voted overwhelmingly to ratify their one-year contract extension, with 97% casting ballots in favor. The agreement fully funds all benefits, preserves every win achieved in 2022, provides for wage increases for all bargaining unit members and more. This ratification secures stability for workers and their families while reaffirming our commitment to fair wages and strong benefits for the future. Thank you to the committee and staff for all of their hard work.

We will continue fighting until all contract extensions are secured, ensuring that every member receives the protections and gains they deserve at every casino.
