🇺🇸⭐️ STARS FOR OUR TROOPS — GEORGIA NAVY MOMS AT THE USO NEED YOUR HELP! ⭐️🇺🇸

This holiday season, Georgia Navy Moms at the USO are collecting American flags for Holiday Block Leave bags for Army soldiers in Basic Training who will be heading home for Christmas. 🎄🇺🇸

We are looking for:

⭐️ American flags with embroidered stars
⭐️ 3’ x 5’ or larger
⭐️ Preferably made in the USA
⭐️ New, gently used, worn, tattered, torn, or faded flags that are no longer fit to fly

These flags will help remind our soldiers that America is proud of them and behind them. ❤️🤍💙

Please look through your home or reach out to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and civic organizations to see if they have flags to donate.

To donate, comment below or send me a private message, and we will make arrangements for pickup or delivery.

Let’s see how many flags our Georgia Navy Mom family can collect! 🇺🇸⚓️

Thank you for helping make Christmas a little more special for our troops!

We have the best group of devoted moms who love serving the USO! In July, we followed up hot dogs for the Air Force cadets with our monthly service on the 3rd Saturday.

Yesterday, the Navy Moms had the pleasure of hosting our Air Force cadets headed to Alabama for their field training. We served sausage biscuits and hot dogs to hundreds of college ROTC students thanks to a very generous donor!

We appreciate the opportunity to share our love and support to these admirable young leaders and all of our active and retired service members!

Happy 250th to our wonderful United States of America! ❤️🇺🇸

Moms enjoyed serving quesadillas to our active and retired service members on Saturday and met a couple of the tireless Home Depot volunteers refreshing the center’s decor. We’re looking forward to seeing the new look!

The Georgia Navy moms have met some of the best people this past year!! We thoroughly love supporting our military and making their visit to the Atlanta USO as comfortable as possible!

In April, Cynthia, Christine, Lynn and Karen posed with a veteran visiting the center.

Guests enjoyed baked slider sandwiches with fresh fruit and wonderful banana pudding.

Many thanks to Olive Garden in Cartersville for making it affordable for the Georgia Navy Moms to serve a delicious meal of lasagne/spaghetti, salad and breadsticks to our guests Saturday!
We appreciate our baker Christine for the best tiramisu!

Welcome to our new volunteer Heather!

We are a group of Navy sailors’ moms who enjoy volunteering at the Atlanta airport’s USO. The USO always appreciates volunteers to greet our active and retired military traveling through the Hartsfield-Jackson airport; call Christina at 404.761.8061 to ask how you can show your support!

From the touching letter that we received most recently, the last line says it all.
