Our hearts (and your trunks) are absolutely full!

This morning at 11:00 AM, the community came together at VFW Post 6449 for our Feeding GA Families Grab N Go Market, and we were able to bless so many local households with grocery hauls!

Every single family who came through left with an incredible spread of fresh items and pantry staples to power through the week:

Breakfast & Pantry Essentials 🥣
* 1 Box of Reese's Cereal & Reese's Bark Chips 🍫
* 1 Pancake Mix & 1 Bottle of Syrup 🥞
* 1 Milk (or Almond Milk) 🥛
* 3 Bags of Seasoned Rice 🌾

Soups & Easy Meals 🥫
* 3 Cans of Spaghetti Rings 🍝
* 3 Cans of Tuna 🐟
* 3 Cans of Vegetarian Beans 🫘
* 3 Cans of Tomato Soup
* 3 Cans of Cream of Mushroom Soup 🍲

Fresh Veggies & Sides 🥕
* 4 Sweet Onions

We are still buzzing from the energy at the Play It Forward Champions Awards Reception

Feeding GA Families is incredibly honored to announce that we have received a grant from the Atlanta Fulton County Recreation Authority (AFCRA) for our Active Kids program. This marks our second year as a grant recipient, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their continued faith in our mission.

This grant allows us to keep moving the needle, ensuring that the youth in our community have the resources they need to stay active, healthy, and inspired.

A massive congratulations to all the fellow organizations recognized this year. Whether you are working to empower our **youth** or enhance the lives of our **seniors**, your dedication makes Atlanta and Fulton County a better place for everyone.
