MAPS, we have an amazing opportunity to serve our community and represent Georgia State in a powerful way 💙🐾

The American Chemical Society (ACS) is looking for ~
20 student volunteers to assist with hands-on science activities in the KIDS Zone during the 2026 ACS Meeting here in Atlanta!

You do NOT need to be registered for the ACS conference to volunteer.

This is a great opportunity to:
• Engage in community science outreach
• Work directly with children in STEM
• Network with ACS members
• Represent MAPS & GSU with excellence

📍 Location:
SMECC (Shirley A. Massey Executive Conference Center)
Morehouse College
830 Westview Drive SW
Atlanta, GA 30314

📅 Date: Saturday, March 21, 2026
⏰ Volunteer Time: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM (ET)
⏰ Event Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (ET)

Please note this falls during Spring Break.

🍱 Boxed lunch will be provided.
🔎 Background screening will be required (ACS will cover the cost).
📝 Volunteers must complete a sign-up form.
💻 There will be a short Zoom training 1–2 weeks prior to the event.
