Many thanks to the generous donors who helped us to make this gift possible. Michelli has been training with Fernando Saavedra Ordinola at our partner, Eco Acordes for several years and is preparing to audition for the Lima Conservancy of Music. IFED - International Fund for Economic Development, Inc. supports music and chess programs in the Amazon region of Peru.

Let There Be Dragons have flown over the Southern Border to thrill and delight the children of Los Algodones, Mexico! This beautifully written and illustrated story by Nadeen Green and Rodrigo Tobar de La Fuente spreads a timely message of the critical need to protect water and animal conservation.

School is out for the summer in Los Algodones, Mexico…and the temperatures are crazy hot! We were thrilled to find CEO Oscar Dominguez and his daughter Sam at the Alamo Dental Clinic who have a contact at the local school. All of our IFED - International Fund for Economic Development, Inc. educational supplies - DVD player, books, posters, dictionaries, stickers and writing implements - will be delivered when classes begin. Our current and future investments have the potential to make a huge difference for the students and teachers in this underfunded community and the schools.

Building these skills for musicians and craftsman is an exciting opportunity to enhance the Eco Acordes programs and ensure expert care for the musical instruments. Our IFED directors are excited to have this opportunity to assist Fernando Saavedra in securing a professional to teach these skills in the Iquitos community.

This beautiful ensemble of gifted and talented students makes all of the effort and investment worthwhile. They should be proud of all they have accomplished and learned through their dedication and commitment. It was an honor to see their performances and hear these beautiful selections.
