The three focus areas of the Atlanta 1996 Centennial Foundation are: Global Health & Wellness, Education & Training, and the Environment.

The Atlanta 1996 Centennial Foundation will, when feasible, promote Peace & Reconciliation issues within its 3 focus areas. The Atlanta 1996 Centennial Foundation will join local, national, and international partners to ensure the greatest impact and sustainability of activities in each of its 3 focus areas.

This month, ATLANTA 1996 : The Official Living Legacy Institution of the Atlanta 1996 Centennial Olympic Games celebrates 23 years of innovation, success and history.

To date, ATLANTA 1996 counts over 2,000 ALUMNI from 53 nations with ATLANTA 1996 ALUMNUS competing at all Summer Olympic Games since 2004.

The ATLANTA 1996 : The Official Living Legacy Institution of the Atlanta 1996 Centennial Olympic Games Team is grateful to everyone who helped us turn the concept into reality, especially Vernon Jones for his unwavering support as DeKalb County CEO from 2000 to 2008.
