SCC accesses broad based community support to channel resources to residents in blighted apartment communities, through free after school educational gardening and after school wellness programs located on-site in apartment communities. We help economically disadvantaged residents combat poverty, food insecurity, inadequate education, and environmental sustainability. Since 1998, The leadership of

SCC has worked with landlords and operated in two low income housing apartment communities in Georgia. The source of community support for the programs that SCC offers has been generous and reached across a diverse spectrum of household incomes, classes, races and ages.
