61 years after the passage of the Voting Rights Act, the fight for equal access to the ballot box is far from over.

Today, our voting rights face modern challenges through restrictive laws and voter disenfranchisement. At the High Opportunity Voter Project, we refuse to let these barriers hold our communities back.

From local school funding and youth programs to housing affordability and community safety, your vote determines who has a seat at the decision-making table.

Don’t let anyone silence your voice. Protect your power and make sure you’re ready to be heard

Building something meaningful from the ground up takes collaboration, respect, and shared purpose.

Hear from Michelle Lamar, our Director of Quality Control, on why working at HOVP is so much more than just a job:

💬 “We collaborate with respect, value one another’s perspectives, and lead with purpose... It’s an opportunity to help build a legacy.”

We are so grateful for Michelle’s leadership across nine counties and her dedication to our communities! 💙

🎉 As we celebrate our first anniversary, we’re celebrating the heart of our mission! 🎉

What makes us thrive? It’s the passion and hard work of every single person on our team, from the office to the field!
Our Chief Operations Officer, Melva Steps, captures it perfectly: real change happens when we build lasting relationships.✨

We are immensely grateful for Melva’s leadership and the incredible commitment of our canvassers, managers, and partners who show up every day to keep those community relationships thriving. Your dedication to building power from the ground up makes all the difference! 💙

As our birthday celebration continues, we’re spotlighting our incredible managers who love doing this work every single day! 🎉✨

Building a better, stronger community isn't just about today; it’s about the legacy we leave for the next generation.

Kyle “KJ” Smith, Field Manager at our Clayton County Office, reminds us that the work we do on the ground defines the opportunities of tomorrow.

Thank you, KJ, for your heart, passion, and leadership in Clayton County!

365 days of building, organizing, and pushing forward together, and we are just getting started! 💥

To every canvasser, manager, supporter, team member, and partner: thank you for your support and for believing in our vision. You are the heart and soul of this movement, and everything we’ve accomplished over the last year was made possible because of your dedication. ✨

We’re so proud of the work we’ve done, the hope we’ve built, and the foundation we’re laying for the future. Here’s to building something built to last! 🥂
