We are proud to welcome Brian Viriri as our Inman Park Knights U8 & U10 coach. Viriri is a seasoned rugby player and coach with over three decades of involvement in the sport. Born in Zimbabwe and having spent most of his adult life in New York, Brian brings 34 years of rugby experience—including a combined total of 32 years as a player at the high school and men’s club levels, and 5 years coaching at both the high school (1 State Championship) and college levels (2 Tri-State Championships).

He holds USA Rugby L1 certifications in both coaching and refereeing, and emphasizes discipline, skill development, and team cohesion in his approach. Since relocating to Cobb County, GA, three years ago, he has continued to share his deep knowledge of the game through youth coaching, now bringing his passion to a new generation of players.

Professionally, Brian is an experienced Licensed Registered Nurse who holds a Masters in Health Systems Administration from The Johns Hopkins University in Maryland, and a BS-Nursing from Pace University in New York.

Brian has been married for 12 years to his wife, Yiroska, and they are proud parents to two children: Sam (8) and Betty (6).
