There are officially just 13 days until National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day on August 21st. While recent national data shows an encouraging dip in overall overdose deaths, fentanyl remains a critical and devastating threat to our youth. At the Rian Song Foundation, we are turning awareness into immediate action across Atlanta and Philadelphia.❤️ Rian was born in Philadelphia but grew up in Georgia.

Today, 30 years ago, you made your grand entrance into this world. True to your spirit, you refused to share a birthday with anyone else, waiting until well after midnight to arrive, so your twin brothers’ birthday is not the same as yours.

From that very first day, you were fierce, beautiful, and absolutely fearless.

But what stood out above everything else was your massive heart. You cared so deeply for others, loving people with an intensity that was both a gift and a heavy burden to carry. In the end, it was that big, sensitive, broken heart that ultimately took you from us way too soon, when a choice was cut short by fentanyl poisoning.

A couple of years have passed, and the world keeps moving, but the space you left behind remains entirely yours. There are so many moments I wish you were here for, so many people who would have loved to know your light.

To honor her beautiful, giving soul on her milestone birthday, we are continuing the fight to protect and support other women who share that same deep, vulnerable heart. If you feel led to help us carry on her legacy, please consider supporting her foundation.

Turning Awareness into Action: Our Incredible Day at Sprouts!

What an amazing day for The Rians' Song Foundation at the Sprouts Farmers Market in Northern Liberties!

Thank you to everyone who showed up, your support made our first table event a huge success.

We spent the day raising awareness about fentanyl poisoning and the critical need for mental health and substance abuse prevention among teen girls & young women in our community.

The victory wasn't just in the conversations, though. We secured two huge wins for future impact:

We connected with community teams who shared specific stories about students we can help, giving us direct access to bring our resilience and prevention programs right where they are needed most.

We also met with several incredible local organizations that work with young girls. These connections are the foundation for future collaborations that will amplify our mission.

We even learned about some powerful community initiatives that Sprouts Farmers Market is holding, setting the stage for more exciting partnerships down the road!

Thanks to wevyones support we were able to hand out flyers and fentanyl testing strips last Sunday in little five points. Thank you to everyone that joined the last challenge and came to the in person workout fundraisers to help us make this possible.

We would also like to officially announce that we will be starting our group counseling for teen girls and young women struggling with depression, addiction and trauma with DrLisa Ruffin Wineburg on August 13th.

Thank you everyone for your continued support in our mission to save a sister, daughter or mother struggling in my daughters name ❤️
