We are excited to introduce the heart and soul of Forever on the Fly — Diane Dollar! Our Founder, Executive Director, and Program Director!
We want to give a huge thank you to Diane for all her incredible hard work and dedication in turning this dream into a reality. She has poured her heart into building this nonprofit from the ground up. From organizing large aviation events to connecting aspiring pilots and paving the way for their futures in aviation. She has truly been the driving force behind everything we do. None of this would be possible without her vision and tireless effort.
Diane is also a Check Pilot at Air Methods Corporation in Denver, CO. She’s a dual-rated pilot with over 13 years of experience across multiple sectors in the industry.
Not only is she an inspiration, but she’s also the first mentor we’re proud to introduce in our group! Over the past few years we’ve been building accessible mentorship for everyone in aviation. Through our website, you can sign up for one-on-one sessions with Diane or join our many virtual group sessions hosted throughout the year.

News helicopter crews play an important role to help keep communities informed, aware, and sometimes even safe.

These pilots are often the first to the scene from above, navigating fast-paced, unpredictable situations to deliver real-time coverage when it matters most.

It takes precision flying, quick decision-making, and constant communication with reporters, camera ops, and air traffic control—all while orbiting above chaos below.
