Let's share ways dads/partners can stay involved in our breastfeeding journeys.
- hold the baby while mom takes a shower or bath
- remind mom to hydrate and bring her a water cup or snack during long feeding times
-encourage the feeding relationship. Let her know she is doing a great job
- walk with baby if they're extra fussy and mom needs a break
- take time to play with baby during their awake times
- research about breastfeeding and what is normal with LLLI.org

Hi mommas. If you're at Truist Park look for this amazing nursing lounge. Near section 145, go towards the Children's Healthcare of ATL kids area and it's on your left. It has chairs, rockers, changing area and a place to clean pump parts.

How is your night going? Babies wake often (every 2 to 3 hours) during the night for food, comfort, and to know they are not alone in the scary big world. Using the safe sleep seven on LLLI.org website can allow parents ways to get a few more minutes of rest.

This isn't how I pictured our breastfeeding journey. La Leche League is here to provide support for all journeys even if it's just a small amount of breast milk pumped, or daily nursing times.
Our leaders have trained and learned from the moms in our meetings how to support during tough times.
We don't have a meeting this week, but you can reach us through messenger or through the leader contact list at www.lllofGA.org look under leader listing.
