Drew community, do you see a few familiar faces in these photos? Drew's Senior Director of Athletics Kandice Mitchell and Boy's Varsity Basketball Coach and Assistant AD Kenyatta Bennett are representing Drew on the world stage this week! They were selected to participate in the International Sports Programming Initiative (ISPI) South Africa Basketball Exchange, along with YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta Sports Director Kenny Bellinger. They are having the experience of a lifetime and even had the opportunity to dine with US Embassy South Africa Consul General Stephanie Bunce!

Our future cybersecurity leaders from the Junior and Senior academies showcased their app ideas, conducted live demos, and celebrated their achievements last week in two Shark Tank Meets TED Talk events! Please congratulate these hardworking scholars for their achievements in our AI & Cybersecurity Masterclass Program.

IYKYK. The Drew Senior Walk is a beloved tradition celebrated each spring to showcase the graduating class. A mashup of past, present, and future... soon-to-be graduates don their regalia and process from the theater through the halls of the Senior and Junior academies, greeting staff and student "fans" as they go. Led by a drumming troupe, the seniors make their way to the Elementary Academy passing adoring family members who line both sides of the street, signs a waving and cheers a blazing. The final procession through the Elementary Academy hallways is the grand finale--each Senior is met with a door panel display decorated lovingly by our staff, just for them. Tomorrow afternoon, 115 Drew seniors will cross the stage and step into their futures as members of Drew Charter School's 10th graduating class! Today and tomorrow, we're posting in honor of the Class of 2026! 🎓🗞️💚💛 First up, we're sharing a photo compilation of our many students who have attended Drew beginning in their elementary years. Did you know that the Class of 2026 has more "Drew Babies" than any previous class? 64 students have been at Drew since at least Kindergarten, with 25 of them beginning in Pre-K! 87 members of the Class of 2026 started their Drew journeys at the Elementary Academy. (Thanks to the EA staff for this video!)
