Hello Wonderful Women of IHM,

The season of Lent is upon us this coming Ash Wednesday. As Catholics we will spend this liturgical season focusing on almsgiving, fasting, and prayer.

We have 2 events coming up to remind everyone about:

Wednesday, February 28 at 7pm in the IHM school cafeteria, Sandwich making for the Bashor Men's shelter
We will work together to make 170 sandwiches for the men's lunch bags.
We will pray and socialize as a community.
The event will last about an hour.
Thursday, February 29 at 5pm Serve Dinner at the Bashor Men's shelter.

We need our community to come together to make this annual service project come together. Please see the sign up genius for ways in which you can help.

It's never too early to plan! Join us for a night of cars, candy and community at IHM's Annual Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 27, 6-8pm in the Church lower lot.

Trunks and volunteers wanted. Space is limited so signup early to decorate your car and hand out candy.

Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. Please see below for the signup genius for the Central Night shelter service opportunity. This is a time that we are able to come together to provide and serve a meal for the men who gather at the shelter downtown. There are various ways to participate - cooking a meal, shopping for lunch items, donating funds for fried chicken (they LOVE this meal!), prepping sandwiches, and/or serving the night of the event. Please take a look and see how you can be part of this wonderful endeavor.

We have our Rosary Group tomorrow, Friday, January 6. We will be gathering in the new youth room (the former Divine Playtime space) starting after IHM school morning carpool.
The doors will open at 7:45am and we will begin the Rosary around 8:10am. Feel free to bring your little ones.
We will have instruction sheets and extra rosaries so do not be afraid to join us if you are new to praying the rosary!

Please consider signing up for a 30 minute shift to help with food and candy distribution at next week's Trunk or Treat!

Hello Women's Group, We need your help with Trunk or Treat! We have lots of Middle Schoolers coming to help and we need some adults to oversee them. We have broken it up into 30 minutes shifts so that you can still have time to enjoy the event.

If you are running the Soaring Eagle Road Race on Saturday, we will have race numbers and t-shirts available for pick-up tomorrow Friday, from 7:00-8:30 a.m. and 3:00-6:00 p.m. Pick-up will be set-up next to the Historic Church in the upper level parking lot closest to Briarcliff Road. Signed up as a Ghost Runner? You can pick up your t-shirt on Friday. On carpool duty? You can pick up race numbers and t-shirts for your friends.
