As Emory students get ready to return to campus, we’re reflecting on some of the meaningful experiences that shaped their summer.
This August, Emory Hillel students traveled to Israel alongside students from UC Davis for a 10-day Perspectives trip. Jewish and non-Jewish students came together to listen, ask questions, experience Israel firsthand, and learn from people with a wide range of perspectives.
One student shared, “It transformed my perspective, challenged me to see things differently, and allowed me to build meaningful connections with the group. More than just a trip, it felt like an experience of a lifetime.”
Our students are returning to Emory with new friendships, deeper understanding, and experiences that will stay with them long after the summer ends. We can’t wait to welcome them back starting with Pre-Orientation Shabbat at the Marcus Hillel Center tonight. Learn more at instagram.com/emoryhillel 💙
