Hello everyone, to remember October 7th, we had the incredible honor of meeting Einav Amster, a survivor of the Nova Music Festival. ❤️‍🩹

We had the opportunity to hear her story of courage and resilience, ask questions, and learn from her personal experience. It was an emotional and meaningful experience.

Three years have passed since October 7th 2023, a day that forever changed our lives and our people.

As ShinShinim, being far from home on this day makes our mission even more meaningful.

This week, through memorial ceremonies at our schools, educational activities in classes that included “recipe with a memory”- remember those who we lost by cooking, meaningful conversations with students, and taking a part in the ceremony at Temple Sinai, we had the privilege of bringing Israel’s stories and memories to our Atlanta community.

For us, being ShinShinim means building a bridge between Israel and Jewish communities, making sure that even thousands of miles away, these stories continue to be told, and will be never forgotten.

We kicked off our year with two amazing weeks of getting to know Atlanta, the community, and everything this city has to offer. 🏙️💙

From exploring The Battery and Roswell Mill to discovering so many more amazing places, we’ve already had the best time! 🙌

We can’t wait to meet everyone, become part of the community, and make this an unforgettable year together! 🫶

Thank you Atlanta!

We don’t even have the words to describe this amazing experience!

We want to thank each and every one of the amazing people that we met during this year, we couldn’t do what we do without you guys, the community, and we love and cherish you all.

Atlanta is truly the home for the greatest most loving and supporting community there is, and we couldn’t feel luckier to have served as Shinshinim in this incredible community, and to be able to consider ourselves as a part of this community that opened their hearts up to us in such a special way.

Thank you for the incredible opportunities we had to meet so many amazing people and to make so many lifelong connections and friendships.

And of course, Thank you for our amazing host families who supported us and opened their homes up for us, we love and appreciate all of you beyond words.

Atlanta will always be our home and we hope to see you all soon in Israel ❤️
