Are you passionate about public health research with persons with vulnerabilities, and looking to gain hands-on field experience? The Michael Gahnyam Gbeungvat Foundation is recruiting 4 paid volunteers to support field data collection.

🔍 Role Overview:
Selected candidates will assist with data collection activities such as surveys, interviews, and community engagement.

📍 Location: Buea communities
Job type: Short-term (paid)
Number of Positions: 4 (four)

💼 Key Responsibilities:
- Support data collection (questionnaires, interviews, observations)
- Assist in community mobilization and participant engagement
- Ensure accurate and ethical data recording.

🎓 Who Should Apply?
- Background in Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields.
- Prior field or research experience is an added advantage

It was a pleasure having a working visit today at the Buea School for the Deaf.

This discussion with the staff permitted the identification of areas of challenges and needs.

MGGfoundation believes in involving the beneficiaries of any project in the design, implementation of the project so that the outcome is easily assimilated.

I had a fantastic time visiting Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, US! I was honored to give a talk on ways to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities, and even more energized by the conversations that followed.

Great to connect with faculty and students — we’re exploring some exciting ideas for collaborating on Applied Biotechnology and Public Health thesis supervision. Thank you, Morehouse School of Medicine, for your hospitality and inspiring commitment to the sustainability of public health!
