National Teddy Bear Day at Whitehead Boys & Girls Club was more than a fun activity—it was a lesson in compassion, creativity, and connection. 🧸💙💛

Our members designed shirts for their bears, wrote caring notes, completed their Whitehead Warrior Bear adoption certificates, and prepared each bear as a thoughtful gift for someone meaningful in their lives.

Watching them pour so much joy and care into something meant for another person was the best part. Small bears can carry BIG love—and our Warriors showed exactly what kindness in action looks like!

💥 We ended Week One with a BANG! 🏀

Joseph B. Whitehead Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta wrapped up our first week of the 2026–2027 After School Program with an unforgettable night at the OT Select Championship Weekend Semifinals at OTE Arena!

Our Whitehead Warriors cheered from the stands, enjoyed the excitement and even made it onto the big screen! These are the experiences that create fun, connection and lasting memories beyond the Club walls.

Special thanks to Mr. Chance and Ms. Aliya for helping make the night a success. What a way to begin the school year—and we’re just getting started! 💙💛
